LA Residency Program Participation Agreement

Program Overview The LA Residency Program is a cultural immersion initiative designed to connect artists with Los Angeles' dynamic art ecosystem. This program provides dedicated creative workspace access alongside comprehensive support for exploring and connecting with the local art community.

Program Components & Services Your participation fee per month includes:

• Access to dedicated creative workspace for independent practice

• Comprehensive introduction to LA's art and gallery ecosystem

• Guidance on local art supply sources and material procurement

• Opportunities to connect with local artists and showcase your work to the community

• Support for open studio event planning and coordination

• Promotional opportunities through OpenArt's bilingual platforms and social media

Additional Services (separate fees apply)

• Professional artwork photography and documentation services

• Featured artist interview and editorial coverage (by invitation or available as paid service)

Important Program Terms

• This is a cultural program participation fee providing workspace access and community engagement services

• Workspace is designated for program participants only and cannot be shared with non-participants

• Participants engage in independent creative practice while receiving program support and guidance

• All activities must align with the cultural and educational mission of OpenArt

• Studio Key Deposit: $250 refundable deposit required, returned upon key return at residency completion

• Participants must remove all personal belongings and restore the space to original condition by the final day of residency

• Any wall damage (holes, stains) must be repaired by participants using materials provided by the residency program

• Building Access & Security: The residency is located in a well-managed building with security staff on duty. Building hours are Sunday: 10 AM - 12 AM, Monday-Saturday: 7 AM - 12 AM. Overnight stays are not permitted.

• Freight Elevator Access: Monday-Friday: 8 AM - 5:30 PM, Saturday: 8 AM - 12:30 PM (for large artwork or material transport)

Payment & Commitment Program fees are due in advance and reflect the comprehensive cultural programming, workspace access, and community integration services provided.
